The iPad is turning out to be a great communication tool for autistic children. It’s a very well done app that does a thorough job of introducing letter sounds, simple words and individual lower case cursive letters. This app feels like you have a teacher or a tutor working with your child one on one. There is just something about the voice and the encouragement. At the end, for example, the game tells you, “Keep practicing!” I love that about this app!
