These are my son’s DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) books! I confess personally that the Apollo series is my least favorite. I am not that bonded to Apollo as a mortal and it makes me so sad that Meg is traumatized by emotional abuse by her stepfather.
My favorite series is Magnus Chase because my son and I finally understand Norse mythology! I like the Egyptian mythology as well so I’m excited for this companion book to the Kane Chronicles.

Magnus Chase is by far my favorite Rick Riordan series. I have always been a big fan of Norse mythology. Hearthstone and Blitzen are my favorite characters.
