Summer Children's Book Series at Tower Hill Botanical Garden

I’m so excited to be part of this children’s book series at Tower Hill Botanical Garden! We are doing a four-week series.

Tower Hill Botanic Garden

(now officially called the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill)

Boylston, MA 01505

Each book will have a separate Storytime on three Saturday mornings. Each reading will go from 11 am to 11:30 am in an outdoor garden area, followed by a signing from 11:30 to noon at the Gift Shop.

The culmination of the series will be an adult panel on creating children’s books with all four authors on Saturday, August 15. The panel and Q&A will be from 2 to 3 pm, followed by another signing at the Gift Shop.

Saturday, August 8, 11 a.m. THE TRAVELING TACO (Mia Wenjen)

Take a delicious journey around the world during this fun and engaging storytime with author Mia Wenjen. In The Traveling Taco, children will explore how cultures, foods, and traditions connect people across the globe through the adventures of a traveling taco. This lively read-aloud introduces young learners to geography, diversity, and global cuisine in a playful and accessible way. Families will enjoy a celebration of storytelling, culture, and creativity before meeting the author during a book signing in the Garden Shop.

Saturday, August 15, 2-3 pm, panel/Q&A on Creating Nature Books for Kids (Richmond, Stewart, Brannen, Wenjen)
