I love Jenny Brown‘s collage classes. I believe this is my fourth class with her! This was a fun and full day at the Hudson Chatham Winery, a connection she made while creating art daily before work at Tatte in Back Bay, Boston.

In this art and wine experience, we had two art sessions, breakfast and lunch — incredible Dominican Republic fusion food — and a wine tasting. A good time was had by all!
I decided to collage some of the watercolor figure paintings that I make in my weekly Drawing For Pleasure Class, taught by Martin R. Anderson at the Brookline Senior Center. I ended up completing two of the collage pieces at home.
It’s always fun to try new art materials that Jenny Brown provides:
Grabie Brush Pens Grabie Acrylic Paint Brush Pens
Tombow Watercolor Brush Pens Tombow Pens
Posca Acrylic Paint Markers Posca Pens
Archival Collaging Glue Collaging Glue
I am now using archival Ph glue and am a little obsessed with the Posca markers. I have my own small collection of them. But most of all, Jenny invites everyone to discover their inner artist, and it’s a wonderful, nurturing experience to create art together!
I just ordered scrap pieces of Japanese handmade paper, and I’m collecting newspapers in foreign languages to make more pieces. Follow me on Instagram to see more of my art. I’m also selling my art here.
