For many parents, finding a career that balances financial stability, personal fulfillment and quality family time can be challenging. The traditional 9-to-5 job doesn’t always fit the reality of parenting with school runs, attending sporting events and extracurricular activities. For people who enjoy making a difference in others’ lives, having the flexibility to work while maintaining their mental and physical health seems like a far-fetched reality, but being a fitness instructor offers all these perks and more.
The health and fitness market is projected to grow to $202.78 billion by 2030 because people are looking to improve their lifestyles. Reasons include a greater awareness of health issues, increasing consumer disposable income, and rising prevalence of diseases, including obesity, diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure. All this is fueling the market and paving the way for more instructors to rise to the occasion.
A fitness instructor job appeals to business-oriented individuals who enjoy the flexibility and recurring revenue models. Whether you’re looking for a side hustle or a full-time career, learning where you can complete training to become a fitness instructor will get you started on the right path.
