I am thrilled to participate as an author and co-founder/President of Read Your World at the Louisville Book Festival created by our longtime Read Your World board member, Deedee Cummings! She created this event to address the book desert Louisville has, particularly for low income children. Part of the festival’s mission is to give every child in attendance free children’s books!
The first two years of the Louisville Book Festival were virtual due to COVID-19. This year, the Louisville Book Festival will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center on Friday, October 18, and Saturday, October 19.
If you are in the area, I’d love to see you!
