Our fishing and snorkeling trip on the Big Island of Hawaii included an added bonus! We saw pods of Spinner Dolphins and even a large Nurse Shark near the dock! Luckily we were not in the water during the shark spotting!
If you like sharks as my kids do, here’s my post on sharks with Books and Videos for Shark Week.
The snorkeling spot was near Captain Cook’s memorial. There are strict guidelines on accessing the beach in order to protect it from erosion. It’s a magical spot with coral reefs teaming with life.
If you are interested in taking the same fishing and snorkeling trip, I highly recommend Salty Squid Charters! What are your experiences with dolphins and sharks? Thanks for sharing!
