The hike down was treacherous due to slippery mud puddles all the way down to Queen’s Bath but it was well worth ruining my sneakers!
I followed this family with small children and put my feet where they did. That really helped! It was easy to slip and fall down.
I finally caught up with our group at Queen’s Bath. It looks like an ocean bathtub carved out of lava rock. It’s a natural formation. Did the queens of the nation of Hawaii actually take baths here? I do believe that they did!
And why wouldn’t you, if you were the queebn? Look how gorgeous!!
