Interactive Math Learning for Your Kids with Brighterly.com

Interactive Math Learning for Your Kids with Brighterly.com

Posted on December 9, 2022January 8, 2024 by Pragmatic Mom

Over the years, math has proven to be a difficult subject for many kids. Despite teachers putting in their best efforts, many students still don’t understand basic math concepts.

If you’re a parent looking for the best way to help your child learn math, Brighterly’s interactive math learning lessons are a great option. In this article, you will learn about Brighterly, their interactive math learning approach, and the ways it can help your child.

How Does Brighterly’s Interactive Math Learning Work?

Brighterly.com is a website that let’s learn math online for kids. It is an online platform that uses interactive learning classes to help kids improve their math skills. The tutors do this by offering one-on-one classes for kids learning 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade math. There are also math lessons for kids in the 5th-8th grades.

Brighterly hires professional math tutors who will teach your child math concepts and help them improve their performance in school. Here’s how you can get your child started on Brighterly:

Order a Demo Lesson

Before registering on Brighterly, parents have the option to sign up their kids for a free trial lesson. During this session, parents can see how Brighterly uses interactive learning to help kids improve math skills and then decide if they want to continue with the paid courses.

You can schedule the lesson conveniently for you and your kid. Brighterly will send you an invite via email or SMS. When the class starts, you can stay with your child to monitor the lesson and decide if you think it’s the right learning platform for the kid.

Sign up for Paid Courses

Once you’re satisfied with the demo lesson, you can go on and order one of Brighterly’s lesson packages. There are 3 packages that you can sign up for. The first package costs $34 per lesson. With this package, your child gets 8 one-on-one math classes where the tutors use interactive puzzles and games to enhance the learning experience. Students also get a progress report at the end of the 8th lesson.

Meanwhile, the second package has 24 classes, and each class costs $31. Students who choose the second package get all the perks of the first package, including added options like 2 make-up lessons, 2 progress evaluation reports, and a course completion certificate.

The last package has 48 classes, and each lesson costs $28. Apart from being the cheapest package, this option lets students enjoy the features of the other plans as well as class notes after each learning block and 4 knowledge and progress evaluation reports. The package also includes game-based learning resources, a parent-teacher meeting, and a flexible class schedule.

What Do the Classes Entail?

Each class runs for 45 minutes, and students are offered math lessons where they learn core math concepts. The lessons include fun activities and games that help students learn math without all the pressure that comes with learning math at school.

These classes also come with feedback and evaluation, which can help the tutor determine the direction of the next class and define the areas to focus on if the student is currently struggling with some topic. To participate in this class, your child needs a laptop or a computer that has a webcam and microphone. If your child’s computer doesn’t have these features, you’ll need to buy and attach them to their computer. They also need stable internet to connect to the Zoom classes.

Benefits of Interactive Math Learning for Kids

There are many benefits of using interactive math learning tools for kids. They include:

  • Engagement: Interactive math learning tools can keep kids engaged and motivated to learn as they provide a more interactive and hands-on approach to learning math.
  • Personalized learning: Many interactive math learning tools offer personalized learning plans that adapt to a child’s unique learning style and pace, helping them learn at their own pace and level.
  • Immediate feedback: Interactive math learning tools provide immediate feedback on a child’s progress, which can help them understand their mistakes and learn from them.
  • Development of problem-solving skills: Interactive math learning tools can help children develop important problem-solving skills as kids often have to apply their math knowledge in real-life situations.
  • Confidence building: As children progress through interactive math learning activities and receive positive reinforcement, they can develop confidence in their math skills.
  • Fun and enjoyment: Many interactive math learning tools are designed to be fun and engaging, which makes math learning a more enjoyable experience for children.

Final Thoughts

Brighterly.com is one of the best websites for interactive math lessons online. Their interactive classes make it easy and fun for kids to learn math. If you think that your child’s performance in math needs to improve, Brighterly’s classes are structured to provide the results you’re looking for. The ability to take demo classes means you’re not throwing your child in at the deep end. The first free lesson allows you to evaluate the tutors’ teaching methods to see if it’s the right fit for your child.
