My daughter is a sophomore in college and she is a foodie. During her freshman year, she hosted “Charcuterie Night” for her friends in her dorm. It was a big hit even on those sad nights when there was just a pile of cubed cheese that came from the supermarket. Other times, when she was flush, it was an extravaganza of cured meats and imported cheese.
I gifted her an encyclopedic book on cheese for Christmas and she was delighted. We are even thinking of taking a cheese tour in Switzerland one day hosted by Formaggio Kitchen folks, our favorite cheese shop in the Boston area.
