A herd of 21 elephants is taking up residence in London’s parks! Ok, not real elephants though they are life-size! Each sculpture is based on an actual orphaned elephant, cared for by the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
This free Elephants of Tomorrow installation is open to the public and we happened to run into this magnificent herd in Spitalfields.
To support the actual elephants that these sculptures are based on, please donate to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust: adopt animal orphans.
What a great way to get the public to notice the plight of elephants! I love public art!
