Please join me for our ninth Multicultural Children’s Book Club. We host a FREE multicultural children’s picture book virtual book club on the first Thursday of every month from 7 pm to 8 pm EST.
January’s event will be held on January 6th and we are celebrating Multicultural Children’s Book Day using Watercress by Andrea Wang, illustrated by Jason Chin. Personally, this is my pick for the 2022 Caldecott!
As always, we will have:
- Book talk
- Creative project
- Snack ideas related to our theme
- Surprise guest (popping in at 7:40 pm)
- Giveaway (Featured Book and snacks for a group)
I am giving away a “Multicultural Children’s Book Club in a Box” which includes Watercress and include snacks for a group. My snack choice references Andrea Wang’s nonfiction biography of Momofuku Ando, Magic Ramen: The Story of Momofuku Ando, the inventor of instant ramen noodles.
My snack idea is instant ramen noodles meant to be eaten dry, not cooked, as a snack! They are delicious! My son loves them!
We hope you can join us in January!
