It was hard for me to know where to begin when writing about this Asian American icon. His life, though tragically short, is too big to be summarized on a single page! To procrastinate and ruminate on his life, I watched clips from his movies and martial art performances. American media has always portrayed Asian American men as subservient sidekicks. Bruce Lee is probably the only example of a charismatic role model for Asian boys the world over.
He’s an Asian Pacific American hero to me who never let anything get in the way of his goals. Here’s a medley of video clips that shows some of the different facets of his life.
