An Ordinary Moth is Extraordinary If You Take the Time to Learn More
An Extraordinary Ordinary Moth by Karlin Gray, illustrated by Steliyana Doneva
It’s easy to overlook a moth, especially a dusty brown one with no seemingly spectacular qualities. This rhyming picture book covers a range of moth species and spreads a message of looking deeper to find what is unique and special in all creatures. It’s an important lesson that can be applied beyond the inset kingdom. [nonfiction picture book, ages 4 and up]

“What are your favorite nonfiction picture books?” I’m not sure it’s for kids, but “Woman Rebel: The Margaret Sanger Story” by Peter Bagge is very good!
I need to read that one! Thanks John!
I love anything about animals. Recently I found Wallbooks on different topics which have fold-out timelines. They are awesome!
That sounds amazing! My kids would love fold-out timelines!
Thanks so much for this lovely giveaway! Love the books you share.
Thanks so much Maysaa!!
My boys favorite non fiction books have been anything nature based, as well as by Clara Dillingham Pierson.
Thanks for entering Maysaa!
I’m enjoying Katie’s Krops about children giving back. AND the “I Protest” series from Purple Toad Publishing…timely. I hope everyone reading this is fighting the good fight in your community.
Thanks for those great book recommendations Mother of 3! We are all trying to do our part to fight the good fight to protect the issues that we believe in. And there are so many fights to be fought right now … for women’s rights, for women not to be sexually harassed, for the environment, for those who can’t speak up for themselves …
I love the non-fiction books Innovation Press publishes.
I am really enjoying nonfiction picture books lately!! They are so good now, weaving stories into the information.
