BEST #OWNVOICES CHILDREN’S BOOKS: My Favorite Diversity Books for Kids Ages 1-12 is a book that I created to highlight books written by authors who share the same marginalized identity as the characters in their books.
I’ve always wanted to tackle oragami, but looks hard! This kit would be super helpful and a fun mother/daughter project. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Becky,
I like videos for learning origami myself or watching someone do it. The books with the folds can be hard to follow.
Unfortunately I do not know how to make anything via origami.
Hi Valerie,
Origami is hard!
I am afraid the best I can do is a triangle!
That’s ok Barbara Ann!!
The absolute only thing I can make is a swan that tips over, but the kids are origami aces.
Hi Marty,
A swan is great!
Like how your combined origami with stories about female pilots. We have an international museum in Dayton for women in aviation.
Hi Patricia,
What a cool museum!!
My mom used to do storytime with origami when I was young, but I never did pick it up.
Hi Sarah,
What a fun idea that your mom did!
I like teaching my students to fold origami frogs because you can make them jump.
Hi Jennifer,
I like those kinds of origami frogs too! I don’t know how to fold them though.
Very cool! I love origami! :o)
Hi Erik,
My son like paper airplanes. I figured the origami ones must be good fliers!
