Ugh, I’ve been so behind that I’m finally now posting on Caught in the Act … of READING for the summer, now that the summer is almost over! Sorry about that! I’m not sure where the time went!
I’ll keep my book offer open for the rest of 2015: send me a photo of your child caught in the act of reading and I’ll send you a book. It’s my way to encourage reading!
Here’s a photo from Squirtrock of her daughter reading in the car!
Alison K shared this with me:
I saw your post and had to share this great pic of my 4yr old from a few nights ago. I put him to bed, turned out the lights…and when I peeked in a couple hours later, this is what I saw! Lights on, book propped open, sound asleep! He loves his books, especially Magic School Bus. I think it’s time to get him a bedside lamp (if only we could convince him that sleeping in bed is more comfortable than the floor.)
Nancy S. gave me this one:
I caught my daughter reading (during summer break) lol! She is reading: The Ghost of Fossil Glen by Cynthia Defelice.
This is from Kimberly H:
My 5 year old reading 🙂

Fun photos! This is a cute series you run on your blog 🙂
Thanks MaryAnne,
I have a ton of photos. I need to keep posting on the kids caught in the act of reading. It makes me so happy to see kids reading!
Cool! I read. A lot. So, mostly (and sadly) they aren’t surprised when I get caught reading. 😉
Hi Erik,
I can see that being a problem! :). You would have to be caught not reading!
