Happy 50th to my Husband

Some of my readers noticed that my husband is rarely shown on my blog or social media. In fact, it was years before he first appeared on my Instagram. That’s because he doesn’t like to be in any photos. Today’s his 50th birthday and I’m out-of-town at my college roommate’s 50th birthday (he said it was fine with him).

Our girls are also away at sleepaway camp so we did an early birthday celebration with the whole family. I do feel badly that my husband is home with our son. I wish you were here. Or I were there.

But don’t feel too badly for my husband. He is about to take the golf trip of a lifetime for his birthday with a few of his golf teammates from college. They are playing some of the oldest and most celebrated courses at the home of golf, Scotland. More on that later!

Happy birthday to the love of my life. As you can see, he’s a hand-on dad with a penchant for hats on his little girls. Hope you like my birthday video! It’s my digital birthday card to you! Kisses!
