More Fun and Educational Videos for Kids

Posted on February 11, 2015July 11, 2022 by Pragmatic Mom

My son and I watched more videos and picked our favorites to share that we found watching weeks and weeks of The Kid Should See This curated videos for adults but suitable for kids.

The first is an animation video from Aug(De)Mented Reality that combines a ordinary background with an animated creature by way of a clear sheet that is drawn upon.

Aug(De)Mented Reality

The second video is an interesting insect: The Planthopper Nymph that looks more like a plant than an creature until it starts jumping around. This is from the Smithsonian Channel.

What is it really like to battle in a suit of armor? Take a look!

Beautiful Chemistry presents chemical reactions that are well… beautiful! This is a good way to lure a kid into the wonders of organic chemistry!

OMG the Augdemented video had me bugging out my eyes in wonder. It was like watching magic! I’m planting Fen down this week to watch your video picks. Yay!

      Hi Jeanette,
It’s cool animation, isn’t it? It makes animation look easy but I’m sure it was a ton of work! I hope Fen likes it!!

These look really cool! I like the armor one a lot. Medieval settings and weaponry have always interested me. 🙂

      Hi Erik,
My son loved the armor one too; who knew those suits of medal that look so cumbersome are actually quite ergonomically flexible? I don’t think I could move very well in them but it would be fun to try!
