Today, Jeanette and I are focusing Day 4 on Difficult to Shop for Gifts including your spoiled pet and those who have everything yet you must procure a gift during the holiday season. This includes husbands, wives, father-in-laws and mother-in-laws.
This is a tough category for me. I’ve started using The Gift Huntress for help because I’m running out of ideas for my difficult-to-shop-for list but I hope my old ideas will work for you!
My husband would also like a 1970 Porche 911 like Jeanette’s or a $5000 watch, but then he just recently sent me this video of a car that flies that he fell in love with. So that’s on the list too. The FANTASY list that is!
How about you? What is your best idea for difficult to shop for people? Please share!!!

I love these! Especially the soap and the dog bed. I’ve always secretly wanted a giant dog bed for myself…
Hi Jeanette,
I lie in my dog’s bed all the time with him and it’s super comfy! I think it makes my dog really happy when I join him on his bed; it’s like dog pack bonding!
I hope we got our difficult to shop for people list done between us! My husband would like a 1970 Porche 911 too!!! (What are the odds? LOL) but he will appreciate those oven mitts. Ours are too thin and you can totally feel the heat from the pan. Also, he JUST bought metal mixing bowls from Costco which we needed but sadly, THEY DO NOT HAVE LIDS! I like your pick better. I wonder I can fit both into my cupboards?!
That’s a pretty cool guitar pic maker. I think my daughter needs one of those.
Hi Adam,
I was thinking the same thing about my son … and they love those gift cards you can get at the check out counter (sans any money on it) to use to cut out the picks.
I like the guitar pick punch! I used to hand cut guitar picks out of old credit cards using plain old scissors 🙂
Hi MaryAnne,
I wonder how long the guitar pick punch stays sharp. I’ll find out when I gift to my son and let you know. It’s perfect for him; he’s always losing all his picks! And making his own would be hours of fun! His guitar teacher gifted picks to him last Christmas that he made with the punch himself and then decorated with a Sharpie. My son loved them (but then consequently, lost them all).
