A stuffed Holly Hobbie doll was the last doll I received for Christmas. She traveled with me to college in the 70s. I would be so excited to add this book to my collection of Christmas books!
I love Tomie dePalo’s The First Christmas (a pop-up book). I managed to get our copy signed when i met him at a book signing in 1991.

We have two – my favorite, The Night Before Christmas, illustrated by Gyo Fujikawa, and my kids’ favorite, a pop-up book of the Biblical Christmas story.

The Fujikawa book is a reprint of one I had growing up, but the illustrations in your choice here look lovely too!

It is wonderful to be able to celebrate many traditions and religious celebrations, even if they are not your own beliefs. My kids ask for Hannukah jam doughnuts which we once got from a special bakery through Capability:Mom. I will take them there at some point; those donuts are so good!!
