We are always looking for new children’s books to add to our home library for our grandchildren. They devour everything! With 14 of them, it’s hard to say which might be the favorite. We’ve got a whole passel of great young readers!

These books look perfect for my son’s tiny school library! (We might read them ourselves first.) I don’t know about a favorite book of all time – but Robin McKinley’s “Beauty” and Madeline L’Engle’s “A Wrinkle in Time” are two I return to over and over.

Oh! My favorite children’s book? That is so hard! I am a big fan of the ones who turned me kids into readers though. That would be Judy Moody (daughter 1), the Penderwicks (daughter 2), and Harry Potter (son). 🙂

I can’t pick just one favorite children’s book, but the first ones that come to mind are Things Could Always Be Worse and From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs Basil E Frankweiler. Another one is If You’re Afraid of the Dark, Remember the Night Rainbow. I also love the Little House books. 🙂
