May The Force Be With You Renn!
This Kid Reviews Books alerted to me to the blogging tour to cheer up 5-year-old Renn who is undergoing extensive testing for epilepsy this week. Bloggers are joining forces, under the leadership of author Susanna Leonard Hill, to send our best well wishes and posts to entertain and cheer him up.
I offer Renn this clip from the Star Wars section of the new YouTube Lego Channel.
Can we send Renn a lego kit to share with his siblings too? Star Wars, of course!
If someone can get me an address, I’d love to send a package. (PragmaticMomBlog@gmail.com).
The force is strong in this one! May the force continue to be with you Renn! Sending you our best wishes!

So nice to meet you…isn’t it wonderful how this kid lit community is so loving and generous!
I love your post for Renn…so much fun! And I’m sure he will really enjoy the video.:)
Hi Vivian,
I just found out about it last night and wanted to make the deadline so I wasn’t able to do anything fancy or extensive but I hope he likes it. I had posted on Lego’s new YouTube channel and the Star Wars channel there looked fun. My kids were never into Star Wars that much so my knowledge is based on the movies I saw as a kid.
I hope the week of testing is fruitful and they find a way to control is seizures. That must be very scary for him and his family! Writing a such a small thing to do and I hope it helps cheer him up! I do agree with you about the wonderful kid lit community. It’s nice to be able to use our social media to help!
Nice to meet you too Vivian. I’ve been enjoying your posts on Google + Great Books for Kids community!
Lots of love and best wishes all the way from the old continent! Stay strong!
Thank you Alexandra for your kind well wishes to Renn!
Thank you so much for joining in on this, Mia! I know Renn will love this! You’re very kind. Hopefully his mom will stop by and she can give you an address. Many thanks 🙂
Hi Susanna,
Thank you so much for spearheading this! I hope his week passes quickly and they get helpful news as a result. It breaks my heart that a little boy has to go through this! Yes, I’d love to get an address to mail a package. Hopefully, Renn will share with his siblings! I’m sure they could use a little boost too!
Legos are some of the best toys ever created! We’ve had so much fun with them over the years.
Hi Heather,
We are playing with legos more and more this year and I’m so thankful to them because they get my son off screens!
Hi Renn,
This will all be over soon and you will be feeling so much better. Just know that the force is with you!
Thanks Barbara!!! I’m so glad that Renn has so many nice people supporting him!
Another great encouraging post for Renn! I’m sure he’ll enjoy it. 🙂
Thanks Clarojahn,
I wish I had more time to create something more original for Renn but I hope he enjoys it!
What a sweet post. Yes, may the force be with you,Renn!
Hi Maryanne,
Thank you so much for your well wishes for Renn! I hope the posts cheer him up. Some are amazing like Erik’s from This Kid Reviews Books. He made an awesome video presentation.
Mia, this is so fun! And what child does not like Legos?
Hi Laura,
Thanks so much! We are hoping that Renn will have some good memories during this difficult week. Poor little boy! My son broke his arm at age 3 and I remember the x-rays (2 sets) being so painful for him plus not being able to eat for hours because of the surgery required. It’s such a stressful time when kids are so young and have to spend days at the hospital.
AWESOME! I like the clip! 😀
Thanks Erik! I really like your video you made for Renn! And I am really enjoying your blog. Thank you for giving me the heads up about Renn! It was your post that I read last night that prompted me to create my own.
Love the post and video, Mia!
Thanks Lori! I hope Renn does too! I wonder if he’s seen the Lego Star Wars movie.
Love legos! I’ll have to share this one with my son too!
Hi Julie,
The Lego Channel on YouTube is fun! Your son might like it.
My son likes Star Wars Lego too, Renn. Good luck with your tests, sending well wishes from Cape Cod!
Thanks for spreading well wishes to Renn from the Cape! Hopefully, he will get well wishes from all over the globe!
Cute little boy he is. Am sending good vibes to Renn
Thank you Viren! Your good vibes are much appreciated by Renn and his family!
I’m a mom with three kids and as such understand what many mothers out there go through if there kids are suffering from some kind of disability. The story of the 5-year old Renn is simply inspiring. In fact, I’ve made my kids to read his story so that they too can learn from him.
Hi Maria G.,
It must be so tough for Renn’s family and siblings too! Good point! I hope they are enjoying the posts too. I agree with you that it’s nice to point out to our kids what other kids go through. I think it helps them develop empathy.
