Lysol No Touch System, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus

Lysol No Touch GIVEAWAY

I was so impressed when I met the Lysol folks at BlogHer12. They were really nice and I was able to speak to Dr. Laura Jana, a rockstar pediatrician that I’d stalk to get into her practice if she lived in Boston. (She doesn’t).

So when Michelle Vroom asked if I’d cover the new Lysol No-Touch System, of course I would. Yes, that’s her real name. Vroom. How great to have a last name with onomatopoeia! And just in time for April’s National Poetry month!

Word of the Day

onomatopoeia (on·o·mato·poe·ia)

Definition 1: the naming of a thing or action by a vocal imitation of the sound associated with it (as buzz, hiss)
Definition 2: the use of words whose sound suggests the sense
Her name is also in a famous children’s book!

I’m pretty sure that I warned the Lysol folks that I blog on KidLit and that everything can be related to a children’s book!

Lysol No Touch System Appeals to Kids!

It arrived and my kids pounced on it. I don’t know if they’d heard of the No-Touch system through commercials or just read the box. They are really into the No-Touch auto concept. I had to warn them off from ripping both packages open. I wanted to give one away … to my dear readers for someone else to try too! It’s called sharing. They are familiar with that concept but not necessarily good at it.

This is not a sponsored post. I met the very nice Lysol folks at BlogHer12 and my kids were dying to try out the Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap System. They are a little mad I am giving one away. I kept one to placate them.

My kids saw a commercial for this and want me to try it. They are always doing that. I wonder what that says about my housekeeping – hahaha!

I tell my kids to wash hands after going to the bathroom and before meals (if we have been out). I am not crazy about it.
