Countdown to 1 Million Page Views with Giveaways!

Posted on March 28, 2013May 24, 2024 by Pragmatic Mom

Celebration Giveaways for 1 Million Page Views

PickyKidPix, my 10-year-old daughter, has a lot of marketing ideas for my blog. When she heard that I was approaching 1 million page views — we both check our traffic a lot! — she freaked out.

“You must do a big giveaway!”

And she had lots of ideas. Apparently CuteGirlHairStyles does lots of interesting social media marketing.

So, I put her in charge and this is what she planned for me.

Winners

Yes, I have picked winners thus far who have supported my blog. First winner is for ….

5000th Comment

This goes to … June B-M. (Do you have a U.S. mailing address? Sorry, due to the expense I can only ship to U.S. and Canada but I can send to a relative or a friend).

Please join me in congratulating my second winner for …

Most Prolific Commenter

The winner is … Ann of Doodles and Jots and a BIG thank you for her support!

The third prize winner is for  …

A comment of such a repetitive numeric sequence deserves recognition. I hit this on Valentine’s Day, otherwise known as International Book Giving Day, which is my preferred celebratory event.

Goes to Iowa Farmer’s Wife. Thank you for hosting Linkys like Sunday Showcase and taking the time to comment on the scores of linked-up posts!

Iowa Farmer's Wife

I’ll be awarding more prizes when I hit 1 million page views to a random commenter on the day I hit it.

Will these winners please contact me with the prize package that they want? Please choose Prize Box 1, 2, 3, or 4. I will get them right out to you!

I will be hosting a Rafflecopter for the remaining two prizes.

Thank You Packages

We are sending each winner goody boxes of children’s books and items from The Container Store!

      Thanks Redpeffer,
My traffic is like dieting; it always seems to swing up and down. Right now, it’s down. Same feeling as dieting and trying really hard but gaining weight instead. Ugh!

      Hi Maria,
She is a kick-in-the-pants, that’s for sure. Her goal in life is to become a billionaire. She already tells me that she won’t be visiting me much in my old age because she will be quite busy but she will pay for any medical assistance I need. Hmmm… she thinks this is quite funny too! I guess it’s good that I have three kids because the other two promise to visit one. One says he will live with me forever.

Our kids are close in age and gender so your articles are usually such a great fit to my needs. As my son is becoming an independent reader, I’ll be looking for book recommendations for his age that combine an interesting story and a bit of a challenge in terms of vocabulary and grammar. Thanks! 🙂
