Personalized Gifts for Teachers, Friends, and Relatives
My favorite small indulgence is a beautiful personalized return address stamper that has lasted for years from Fine Stationary. It’s the star of my Personalized Gifts from last year and when I gifted it to teachers, they also really appreciated it.
Kids’ art also makes a great personalized gifts for grandparents when you turn it into pendants, cuff links, dish towels and coasters!
I like the idea of personalized gifts but you do have to plan ahead since it can take a few weeks to receive.
Felix Doolittle makes self adhesive return address labels with beautiful watercolor illustrations.
This would be perfect for a beach house.
I’d send this to a friend in Brooklyn or NYC.
This is my personal favorite.
Turning your kids artwork into gifts is perfect for grandparents! I’ve used SilverGraphics to make mugs, travel coffee mugs, and notebooks.

You can also turn your child’s artwork into jewelry at AM Jewellery including cuff links, pendants, brooches, and charms. Totally charming!

I also like Felix Doolittle’s small note cards and I’d choose M for Mia.
If you have a lot of golfers in your life like I do, a personalized golf ball can help keep the golf score down! My husband likes Titleist golf balls.
Another idea is this embosser from Tiny Prints that can can be used for a return address label, but also to make your own stationery. It would also be fun to use for your books.
Capability:Mom has post on her personalized gift favorites too! What are your favorite customized gifts? Do you make one for yourself too? (I do!).

I love personalized gifts. I have been thinking about what I am going to give my children’s teachers for Christmas, I will have to look into this. Time is running out for me because she has about a week left in school. Thank you for the good ideas.
Cynthia
Hi Cynthia,
I am afraid that personalized gifts seem to take 2-3 weeks to make and ship so you might not have enough time. But sometimes you can tell them it’s on the way and just give them a gift certificate or an image and they would love that too. I don’t think they care if it is a tad late. Or try again for end of the year gifts. I had to do that one year because I was too late for Holiday gifts.
I love the kid art pendants!
Hi MaryAnne,
I love kids art converted to jewelry! There are charms and brooches too.
Love these ideas! I better get on it if I am going to order!
Thanks Nancy! I think you still have time!
I just got a Shutterfly catalog in the mail and was thinking about something like this for grandparents!
Hi Ann,
The camera is pricey but you could go in on it with other people … especially if you have siblings and want to give to your mom or dad. I think it’s perfect for that generation who don’t tend to be as techy.
I love your blog about need and value of personalized gifts. i would like to use it. Thanks for sharing it with us.
