Newest Mysterious Benedict Society Chapter Book GIVEAWAY!

Posted on April 30, 2012May 28, 2024 by Pragmatic Mom

Mysterious Benedict Society Books for Kids

It’s hot off the presses! The long-awaited 4th installment of The Mysterious Benedict Society trilogy by Trenton Lee Stewart!

I have 3 (yes 3!! ) copies to give away. Please leave a comment to win. U. S. only, please.

The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict (The Mysterious Benedict Society) by Trenton Lee Stewart

Before there was a Mysterious Benedict Society, there was simply a boy named Nicholas Benedict. Meet the boy who started it all….
Nine-year-old Nicholas Benedict has more problems than most children his age. Not only is he an orphan with an unfortunate nose, but he also has narcolepsy, a condition that gives him terrible nightmares and makes him fall asleep at the worst possible moments. Now he’s being sent to a new orphanage, where he will encounter vicious bullies, selfish adults, strange circumstances — and a mystery that could change his life forever. Luckily, he has one important thing in his favor: He’s a genius. On his quest to solve the mystery, Nicholas finds enemies around every corner, but also friends in unexpected places — and discovers along the way that the greatest puzzle of all is himself.
I blog on The Mysterious Benedict Society here and here. And here and here and here. Yep, we really love this series!
The Mysterious Benedict Society
“Are you a gifted child looking for special opportunities?”When this peculiar ad appears in the newspaper, dozens of children enroll to take a series of mysterious, mind-bending tests. (And you, dear reader, can test your wits right alongside them.) But in the end just four very special children will succeed. Their challenge: to go on a secret mission that only the most intelligent and resourceful children could complete. To accomplish it they will have to go undercover at the Learning Institute for the Very Enlightened, where the only rule is that there are no rules. As our heroes face physical and mental trials beyond their wildest imaginations, they have no choice but to turn to each other for support. But with their newfound friendship at stake, will they be able to pass the most important test of all?Welcome to the Mysterious Benedict Society.
The Mysterious Benedict Society and The Perilous Journey
The Mysterious Benedict Society is back with a new mission, significantly closer to home. After reuniting for a celebratory scavenger hunt, Reynie, Kate, Sticky, and Constance are forced to go on an unexpected search–a search to find Mr. Benedict. It seems that while he was preparing the kids’ adventure, he stepped right into a trap orchestrated by his evil twin Mr. Curtain. With only one week to find a captured Mr. Benedict, the gifted foursome faces their greatest challenge of all–a challenge that will reinforce the reasons they were brought together in the first place and will require them to fight for the very namesake that united them.
The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner’s Dilemma
Reynie, Kate, Sticky and Constance are back – but so is Mr Curtain, with another devious scheme! Can the Mysterious Benedict Society thwart Mr Curtain’s plans, even whilst held prisoner? Join them on their adventure as they face all sorts of dilemmas, in a bi to save Stonetown. The third book in the New York Times bestselling series.

For the kids? Yeah, they will love it. Yes it will get passed around. But only after the “me first” part. 🙂

For those of you out there who haven’t read the series, go get it.
