St. Paddy’s Day Ideas Thanks to Pinterest!

St. Patrick’s Day Activities for Kids

I am not very good at the arts and crafts things nor the special decorating of the house for holidays. I figure that it’s good to know your strengths and weaknesses and this kind of stuff is not my forte. And yet, I have a bunch of ideas for St. Patrick’s Day here on a special board on my Pinterest page. I think that is the power of Pinterest; it makes you feel like you can do anything!

I asked my kids if they wanted me to do anything special for St. Patrick’s day (given that I do have these great ideas from other people from said Pinterest page) and my middle child answered, “No, we’re not Irish.” I was a little sad for a second and then relieved to be off the hook. Saturday is already a blur of driving kids back and forth to sporting events, tutoring sessions, and birthday parties.

But I know that you, dear reader, are a better mom than I. So I am offering up these ideas to you!

A Differentiated Kindergarten has a cute idea of green footprints and green toilet water.

Teachers Pay Teachers has St. Patrick Free Math activities for patterns and addition.

Red Bubble found an actual four leaf clover!

LeStout uses bell peppers to stamp perfect clovers.

The Teacher’s Lounge has a shamrock family tree project.

There’s more. Please drop by my Pinterest boards and please follow me! I promise to follow you back!
