crooned: The singer crooned a medley of bedtime lullabies at the concert.
clambered: To cross the stream, we clambered over slippery boulders and almost fell in.
anxious: I get anxious when I visit the doctor because I think I might be getting a flu shot.
peculiar: Alice felt peculiar after she drank the magic potion that was supposed to make her smaller.
trembling: The kitten was trembling with cold and fear after we rescued it from the pond.
