Reading Strategies: Halloween Fake Fingers as Word Pointers
Three Jewels in My Crown has such a great idea! She uses those fake finger extensions that you can buy for Halloween costumes year-round as word pointers while reading with her children! Genius! Plus you can also get double use if it’s part of a costume, maybe even yours!
Here’s her post. Here’s a picture of her demonstrating the use of her fake finger as a word pointer.
Her kids had so much fun, they made more word pointers themselves. She’s clearly a great Arts and Crafter, so try out her ideas! See the ones she made with her kids here.
If you have trouble locating the fake extension fingers, you can click on the two images at the top to buy them at Amazon.
