Once Upon an App has made the classic story Peter Rabbit into an eBook for the iPhone or iPad. This is a delightful iPhone ebook. The interactive puzzle is a la the classic “Highlights” magazine of spotting the hidden picture in the illustrated line drawing page. When you find the picture, you move an easter egg to locate it and the picture turns into a beautiful colored illustration. The story is narrated on each page while you search for the hidden picture.
The narration is wonderful, but the words do not appear on this application either in the story only or story and puzzle version, so think of it as an illustrated “book on tape.” You can buy this application by clicking on the image of the book or from iTunes.
