My youngest is in 5th grade this year and his homework is getting more challenging. Usually, I can figure out how to help him but sometimes, I need a little help figuring out his homework too! What to do?
I’d like to tell you about Homework Help Desk, a new website that’s focused on helping kids with their challenging homework in math, science, English (and parents too!). This website is a project of Get Schooled, a national non-profit founded on the belief that students themselves have the power to improve their future if given the right information and motivation.
With the Common Core State Standards, children are learning new concepts and strategies in the classroom. That means parents are learning them too. We’re here to help.
We’ve worked with parents and teachers to identify the new concepts in Math and English Language Arts (ELA) that parents are struggling with the most. So search by grade or by topic, browse through instructional videos or get one-on-one help from a trained teacher. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge and support you need to help your children with their homework assignments.
Homework Help Desk is a FREE website where you can search by grade or by topic, browse through instructional videos or get one-on-one help from a trained teacher. You will likely find the help you need on the site since it covers Common Core Curriculum. If not, you can ask a question and their certified elementary school teachers are available Monday through Friday from 12PM to 6PM PST. They answer your question within 24 hours.
