We have been reading all the Junie B. Jones books and I’d love for us to finish them!
Hi Jenny,
We love the Junie B. Jones series too. I think I read nearly all of them, some of them snort laughing so much that I could barely breathe. Did you read Junie B Jones is a Barber Shop Guy? That is my favorite! I know that some moms object to Junie B because she’s fresh and that her language is not grammatically correct, but OMG, those books are funny! Thanks for entering!
whatever they find at the library

Hi Kathy,
I don’t think Patricia Polacco ever wrote a bad book. I’m trying to make my way through all of them myself. Does your granddaughter have a favorite yet? It’s hard to choose! I really like My Ole Man.

This year, I’m hoping my older kids will find their “genre”, what it is they really LOVE to read. We’ve picked up a few different ones & hopefully we’re on our way.
Hi Georgia,
Sounds like they will since you are wonderful to give them room to explore! Thanks for entering!
I like them to read anything they find interesting.

I want my daughter to read The Secret Garden.
Hi Christina,
Me too! That is such a great book and I have such cherished memories of reading it as a child. I wanted to find and explore a secret garden someday too!!
Our girls will be reading a variety of genres. This mama is an English teacher, so it’s never to early to begin a little bit of everything. Right now, they’re enjoying non-fiction about ocean life and also animal adventure fiction.
Hi Tanya,
Your kids are so lucky to have an English teacher for their mama! What a nice variety of genres you are exposing them to! Thanks for entering my multicultural picture book giveaway!
