Horror Television Show for Brave Kids, Preferably Tweens!
R. L. Stein, author of Goosebumps, has a TV show series that scares and thrills called The Haunting Hour on The Hub. My kids held a small party to preview the show and pronounced it scary but good.
They think it’s appropriate for tweens as it’s quite scary. There’s that music that is in all horror movies that builds the suspense. Special effects are also used to great effect to create creepy characters that are downright evil.
I think this show is perfect for Goosebumps alums … those kids who are familiar with R. L. Stein’s books but have aged out of it. The same twists and turns are there but in a small screen format.
There is a certain type of kid who never gets scared but not my kids or their friends!
They are too scared to show their faces! Someone or something might get them!
They don’t recommend watching it at night or alone without adults nearby!
I was selected by MommyParties to host this party as part of a promotion through MomSelects. I received t-shirts, vampire fangs, slap bracelets for the party but no compensation. My opinions and those of my kids are our own.

BEST #OWNVOICES CHILDREN’S BOOKS: My Favorite Diversity Books for Kids Ages 1-12 is a book that I created to highlight books written by authors who share the same marginalized identity as the characters in their books.
My kids would be so into this if a tab older! They love the Goosebumps videos from library (even through they are to scared to what through)!
Hi Ann,
They would enjoy it in a few years!
