Celebrating Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Today!

Celebrating Dr. Seuss on His Birthday!

My latest revelation (and I’m always late to the party) is that an author that I’ve always loved as did my children, Theo (Theodore) LeSieg is ACTUALLY Dr. Seuss (a.k.a. Theodor Geisel). He has more pseudonyms than an international espionage agent! Our very favorite book and probably the first book that my kids read on their own delighted in their ability to decode is Ten Apples Up on Top but I wish That I Had Duck Feet is a close second favorite book of all time.

I never did discover these books until now though!

So cool! Thanks for these lesser known recommendations!!!

  2. So bizarre. They all (except the eye book) really look like Dr. Seuss’ style. Why would he have used so many pseudonyms? Now I need to go check out these books…
