Kids Caught Reading
Thank you, as always, for the adorable pictures of kids so very happily reading! I hope they inspire your kids to take a wacky picture … in an unusual place, with a pet, sitting on a special chair, or cuddled up with someone. I hope that summer means that you can slow down. I know I need to slow down … and take some time to turn pages more slowly, whether it is on a eReader or an old-fashioned book!
Happy 4th of July everyone! Hope you are having a good one!
Thank you to reader Raven for sending in this cute picture.
Reader Joanna sends in this photo saying, “Here is my kiddo reading Harry Potter with her rabbit on her shoulder!!”

My Mom Friend Cindy (my friend from our pre-kids life working together in Silicon Valley at a start-up together. Lots of late nights together eating Chinese food!) says, “Julia can’t read yet but she likes to copy her sister.”

My work colleague Mom Friend Kathleen’s son Kevin. We’ve met him through this feature. He’s been reading signs while hiking, reading books about the Titanic while playing with a model of the Titanic and now enjoying the funnies (as we used to call it) on a leisurely Sunday morning.
