Kids Caught Reading!
Thank you to everyone who sent in photos. I love seeing kids caught in the act of reading and hope that it inspires you to keep your kids reading this summer! I will be posting a slew of reading lists for anyone who needs inspiration while at the library. Thank you again everyone for your support for this feature! I can’t do it without you! Caught in the act…of reading, of course.
A few days ago, our resident book-worm appeared to be bored. I said, “Why don’t you go and play with a puzzle? Or color with your crayons or jump on the little trampoline?” She replied sternly, “Or READ A BOOK?”
Why, yes. Excuse me.
Last night after dinner, I looked around, wondering where she had run off to. I peeked my head into the kitchen and there she was, at her kitchen table, reading Knuffle Bunny. If ever she goes sneaking off, chances are, reading is involved.”
