Weekly Books for Kids Giveaway

Free Books for Kids

I think it was JacketFlap that started the Second Hand Saturday Book Giveaway and now I am hopping on their bandwagon with a New Weekly Feature to give away some of the great books that I have received but no longer need.  The books may have been too girly to be passed down to my son.  Or all my kids might outgrew the books.  Or simply, the book didn’t click with my kids.

To clean out my shelves because the books keep coming in (’cause I keep buying them), I am going to give away books on my own Second Hand Saturday.  Please leave me a comment with what book you want and I will email you for your address to mail it to you.  If you give a good case, you might win outright. If I get a lot of comments, I’ll have to figure out that random number selector widget. Thanks for participating!

My Foodie ABC. My review is here.

Hiroshima in the Morning.  (Adult Memoir).  My snarky review is here. Capability:Mom wrote a more balanced one here.

Congrats to Rebekah and Sasha. Rebekah is writing a memoir and won the memoir.  Sasha won the board book!

  1. Rebekah Tyler

I have not read these books but I am writing a memoir so need all the inspiration I can get!

From your review I understand this writer went around the world without her young children.

MY MEMOIR in comparison is about an amazing 8 month adventure I did around the world WITH my 2 boys aged 2 & 10. And I did this as a SINGLE mom!

I feel that HAVING my boys with me made my journey more wonderful 🙂

    Best wishes Rebekah 🙂

  2. Congrats Rebekah! You won the memoir!

  3. Sascha

Very cute — maybe picky eater kid would get inspired?

  4. Natalie
