FREE eBooks: Classic Children’s Literature

Free eBooks for Kids

There are not a ton of free children’s classics for Kindle, but there are some good ones.  I suppose the common theme here is expired copyright protection.  If you have a Kindle, you might want to consider sharing it with your kids.  If you don’t, it’s almost a reason to buy one!  Here’s a sampling and here’s the link.

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett

Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. F. Baum

The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling

Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin

Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austin

The Blue Fairy Book

The Red Fairy Book

The Green Fairy Book

  1. I don’t have a Kindle but there are some great ones on the iPad that I assume would be on the Kindle too.

The House at Pooh Corner by Milne
    The Enchanted Castle by Nesbitt
    Hans Christian Anderson
    Lucy Maud Montgomery
And that’s just what I’ve found so far!
